Energy renovation results in improved energy labels for six commercial properties by 2023

With a mantra of buying properties that have lived a sad life and renovating and transforming them into attractive tenancies that stand out in the business districts, ongoing energy optimization of Stensdal Group's existing properties has resulted in improved energy labels in 2023 on six commercial properties.

Ongoing energy improvements to our existing properties have resulted in six properties achieving improved energy labels in 2023. The 3,655 m2 property on Vallensbækvej 45 in Brøndby has particularly stood out and has taken a significant leap on the scale. When we took over the property, the building's energy label was D, and with the ongoing renovation and improvements the building has acquired, it has now achieved energy label A2010.

It is now common knowledge that renovating and optimizing the existing building stock is more sustainable than demolishing and building new. The goal of the ongoing energy optimization of our existing properties is also based on the simple fact that it pays off. With energy optimization and improved energy labels, it helps to reduce the property's energy consumption, it reduces the negative environmental impact, and initiatives such as LED lighting, energy-efficient windows, and optimized ventilation systems help to increase comfort and productivity for our tenants.

"We believe in long-term ownership of the properties we build or renovate. Our ambitions reach far into the future, where everything is handed over to the next generation. But it also comes with a responsibility. That's why we have a strong focus on energy optimization and reducing our climate footprint, and on renovating and building new with architectural qualities that make us proud - and our tenants safe."
