Groundbreaking ceremony for Ammendrup Park

March 17, 2021

Over the next nine months, the first stage of Elsinore's new neighborhood, Ammendrup Park, will emerge in the southern part of the city. Stensdal Group and HusCompagniet are in the process of transforming the 200,000 m2 nature plot into an attractive neighborhood, and interest in a home in the green has so far been overwhelming.

The sun was high in the sky and the joy of building was palpable. Since Stensdal Group took over the 200,000 m2 site in 2020, things have moved fast. By the end of 2021, the first moving trucks and tightly packed trailers are expected to move in with the area's new residents, and the rest will follow in 2022.

Interest in a home in Elsinore's new, scenic neighborhood has been enormous. Although the first townhouses are just under 9 months away from being occupied, there are only 3 rental homes left in the first stage of 18 houses.

"We are very proud of the upcoming development, which we believe fulfills a great desire in the market. This is largely confirmed by the overwhelming tenant interest, which I don't think I've seen before," says Søren Stensdal, CEO of Stendal Group.

Interested parties can already look forward to an Open House in December, as Stensdal Group and HusCompagniet expect to invite you to an Open House. Here you can experience the coveted 90-112 m2 terraced houses at first hand, run your fingers over the bricks, step into the beautiful kitchen-dining rooms with ceiling to ceiling, and not least get a sense of life in the area that is currently emerging.

In the remaining part of the subdivision, there is just as much interest in buying plots for detached houses. With hilly terrain and green views as far as the eye can see, it's easy to understand why families with children, young people and seniors want to live here. Here you get both a safe bike path to the most popular school in Helsinge, Bjørnehøjskolen, and a natural area with views of Pibe Mølle and Arresø on the horizon.

"In the first stage of 28 plots, no less than 20 have already been sold, so today we are opening the sale of the next stage of 33 plots at prices from DKK 1,150,000 - 1,550,000 including VAT and connection fees. The construction of the first detached houses will start in a month, which means that locals can really see that something is happening in the area in the near future," says Søren Ravn, B2B Director at HusCompagniet.

In addition to locals, the new residents include many families from Copenhagen who have opened their eyes to the special location in Helsinge. And when the first residents move in, they will be joined by lots of winged neighbors. The green surroundings have made room for insects and butterflies, which will have plenty of space for wild habitats and breeding grounds. The initiative is a result of Stensdal Group's butterfly partnership with the Danish Society for Nature Conservation, and makes the homes in the new neighborhood a green experience in all respects.

ABOUT AMMENDRUP PARK

A total of 142 single-storey terraced houses for rent and 96 detached house plots are being built in collaboration with HusCompagniet.

For Stensdal Group, the goal from the start has been to create a modern and attractive neighborhood with space for different types of housing. The location could not be more beautiful; a hilly glacial landscape with protected dikes and views of the landscape as far as the eye can see. At the same time, the town of Helsinge is just around the corner and not least the entire North Zealand hinterland - with a national park, world-class cultural and historical attractions and museums and just a 15-minute drive to the beautiful beach resorts along the North Zealand coast.
