In some cases, an incredible amount of development can happen in just three years. Ammendrup Park is living proof of this. In just three years, the 200,000 square meter site in southern Helsinge has gone from being a bare field to a vibrant new district.
Stensdal Group and their partner HusCompagniet are pleased to announce that the last brick has been laid and the last set of keys have been handed over for the area's 142 townhouses. Although the area is still some way from reaching completion, the construction and rental of the last townhouse counts as a milestone for the company behind it. It marks the success of Stensdal Group's largest housing project to date.
"This is definitely a big moment for us because it marks the completion of the first of several projects where we are developing rental housing for our own portfolio. The fact that we have reached this point with the area in such a short time is crazy. It shows that with Ammendrup Park we have succeeded in creating something very special," says Stensdal Group CEO Søren Stensdal.
Massive interest from start to finish
Ammendrup Park has 142 terraced houses and almost 90 detached house plots. That's a lot of houses to fill, but the area was barely finished before the last lease was signed. The company had actually expected that the interest would end up being so great, but that doesn't make us any less happy, says Søren Stensdal.
"It's the wish scenario. It's everything we've believed and hoped for, but in the end, only reality can prove whether we were right in our assumptions about the potential of the area, and it's fantastic to be able to confirm that just three years after construction started."
More homes on the way
Despite the fact that all the current terraced houses are now fully rented, not everything is completely sold out. Due to the great interest and continued demand, Stensdal Group, in collaboration with HusCompagniet, is expanding with an additional 22 semi-detached houses, which are expected to be ready for occupancy in the second quarter of 2024. With the new semi-detached houses, the real estate group will build on what Ammendrup Park as an area can already do - namely offer attractive single-storey houses in scenic surroundings at an affordable price. In addition to the interest in renting a townhouse in Ammendrup Park, Stensdal Group also announces great interest in the detached house plots, where there are only eight plots left.
