Now we run on electricity

On the surface, they may look like what used to be. But under the hood, there's something completely different and greener. The next time you see our service team on the road, they'll most likely be driving an electric car.

Electricity and renewable energy play a crucial role in the green transition. There has been no doubt about that for a long time. Nor is there any doubt at Stensdal Group. That's why we are pleased that we have now replaced two of our service vehicles with electric cars for the time being.

The car is an important place to start because it is a major climate culprit. In the green think tank Concito's report from 2023, the car ranked fifth among the biggest climate culprits in the average Dane's carbon footprint.

A greener balance sheet
Servicing our property portfolio and associated outdoor areas on a daily basis, our service vehicles naturally have a climate footprint. Last year, our service vehicles consumed 5,226 liters of diesel, corresponding to 13,368 kg. CO2. This is too much, and although the purchase of two new electric cars will not reduce the carbon footprint to zero, it will undoubtedly reduce emissions significantly. The switch to electric cars goes hand in hand with our ESG efforts and Scope 1 emission reduction targets.
