Tuesday, February 15, saw the official inauguration of the area's new safe bike path and the ground-breaking ceremony for the second stage of the townhouses in Ammendrup Park. Close to 100 homes have already been rented out and more than 60 building plots sold.
It is possible that it is still a winter month. In the calendar. But the scent of spring was in the air and the smiles were big when the team at Ammendrup Park marked two significant events on Tuesday: the official inauguration of the new bike path and the groundbreaking ceremony for the second stage of the rental apartments.
Gribskov Municipality's Mayor Bent Hansen (V) was unable to attend, so in his absence it was the radical chairman of the Planning Committee Bo Jul Nielsen, together with CEO Søren Stensdal from Stensdal Group, who cut the ribbon for the bike path, after which they, together with HusCompagniet's Sales Manager Per Munck Kvisgaard, cut the first sod for the last stage of the rental homes.
The first residents have already moved in
Etapen's first 71 rental apartments are fully leased. The first 18 residents of the townhouses moved in in December. The next batch of 23 townhouses will receive keys to move in on April 1. In total, 142 townhouses are being built for rent and 96 detached house plots are being sold, with several new builders also moving into their dream homes.
Speeches from HusCompagniet, Gribskov Municipality and Stensdal Group
At the ground-breaking ceremony for the second stage, which includes 71 terraced houses in the northern part of the development, speeches were given by Gribskov Municipality, HusCompagniet and Stensdal Group, who own and develop Ammendrup Park.
In his speech, Søren Stensdal thanked the builders and was again pleasantly surprised by the massive interest in living in Ammendrup Park, where at the time of writing, almost 100 of the 142 terraced houses have been rented out and over 60 building plots sold.
"It's incredible to think back that it's only two years ago that we stood here and dreamed of everything that Ammendrup Park would one day become. We firmly believed that there would be interest in living here, while hardly anyone else - especially locals - believed it would happen. But look how far we've already come," says Søren Stensdal, who is pleased to see the activity in the area, where the first residents of both townhouses and villas have moved in. "Even more are on the way in the coming months, and we can't wait to see how great Ammendrup Park will look when the whole area is developed."
ABOUT AMMENDRUP PARK
Stensdal Group is building a brand new district in Helsinge - on 200,000 m² of hilly land. A total of 142 terraced houses (rental) and 96 detached house plots are being built here. The first townhouses were ready on December 1, 2021, when 18 residents received the keys to their new rental homes. The first settlers have also moved in, so although Ammendrup Park is far from fully developed, Ammendrup Park has already become home to many.
