The Danish-owned parking company ParkZone gets a new ownership constellation. Stensdal Group increases its ownership stake and thereby obtains a majority shareholding. With its insight into the real estate industry and broad network, Stensdal Group will contribute to ParkZone's development journey.
The ownership shares in the Danish parking company ParkZone have been equally divided between Torben Holritz Juhl and Stensdal Group since its foundation. This has now changed. The company's founder and former CEO wanted a change of ownership and a change in the ownership structure. The Stendal Group has therefore purchased Torben Holritz Juhl's shares, thereby acquiring a majority stake in the company.
Søren Stensdal thanks Torben Holritz Juhl for the many years of collaboration and looks forward to being a bigger part of ParkZone in the future:
"Torben has laid the foundation for our success and has created an innovative workplace that, with Ronen Leon's appointment as CEO at the beginning of the year, is ready for the next step in our development. I look forward to contributing to ParkZone's further development with my insight into the real estate industry and my network."
At the same time as Torben leaves the company, management, including CEO Ronen Leon, enters the ownership circle, together with the company's previous board member Eske Munck. The latter will contribute with his deep commercial and business analytical skills, as well as his in-depth knowledge of ParkZone.
Change in ownership opens up new opportunities
ParkZone sees the change of ownership as a valuable opportunity to further strengthen its market position. With the new ownership group and the added competencies, ParkZone is, according to CEO Ronen Leon, geared for the next step on the development journey:
"I look forward to continuing the close and trusting collaboration with Søren and Eske and look forward to them helping to ensure our future development and stability. The potential is so great, and we must focus on that now."
The ambition level at ParkZone is higher than ever. In the near future, the company is planning a rebranding to emphasize that ParkZone provides much more than parking. Most recently, ParkZone added security solutions such as security guards, fire and defibrillators to its product portfolio, and with ParkZone Security gained another business leg, which is already chosen by customers throughout Denmark. In addition, a dedicated Country Manager for ParkZone Norway has just been hired to ensure the company's growth in the country.
