Stensdal Group ready for the construction of a 10,600 m2 headquarters building for MTAB Danmark A/S in Taastrup

After a good development process, in close collaboration with MTAB Danmark A/S as tenant, Stensdal Group has now obtained a building permit for the construction of a new head office building on the real estate group's site at Dybendalsvænget 3 in Taastrup. With the permit in hand, Stensdal Group will now begin the construction of a very special headquarters building, where they will be able to welcome the new tenant into their new property, consisting of a total of 10,600 m2 of logistics and offices, as early as 2025.

In Klovtofte Erhvervsområde in Taastrup, probably better known as the area "by IKEA", Stensdal Group is already well represented with the ownership of several significant commercial properties. Namely the neighboring property to IKEA at Mårkærvej 2, with 9,350 m² buildings, the 13,500 m2 multi-user property at Dybendalsvænget 3 and now also soon with a large and very special domicile property on the neighboring plot at Dybendalsvænget 3 of 10,600 m2. The total investment in the property will amount to a small three-digit million euro sum.

New tenant with special requirements for construction

Stensdal Group will begin construction of the domicile building immediately after the summer holidays in collaboration with Midtjysk Albyg, which is responsible for the turnkey construction contract. The building has been developed in a thorough process with the new tenant, so the plans for the future premises have also been carefully developed with their specific needs in mind. The new domicile will be the lease and address for the Nordic transport and logistics company MTAB and their Danish branch. MTAB Danmark A/S specializes in the transport, handling and storage of sensitive products and therefore - compared to a typical logistics property - it places special demands on the property's security level and technical functionality, including firefighting, humidity control, etc.

The Stensdal Group is looking forward to the construction taking shape and finally welcoming MTAB Danmark A/S and their employees into their new premises. The good cooperation with the future tenant and Høje Taastrup Municipality regarding the development is also highly appreciated by Stensdal Group:
