Will build 2000 homes on Zealand
As part of its long-term strategy for residential development, Stensdal Group launches the Favn housing concept. Here, the real estate group focuses on creating healthy and safe communities that promote well-being and strong neighborhoods. The ambition is to develop and build 150-200 homes per year on Zealand.
Favn will include all the group's existing and future housing projects, including most currently;
- Ammendrup Park in Helsinge with 164 homes and another 36 townhouses under construction.
- Lyskær Have in Herlev with 59 apartments under construction.
- Hestehaven in Favrholm in Hillerød with approx. 250 apartments totaling approx. 20,000 m².
- Favrhøj in Favrholm in Hillerød with approx. 450 apartments totaling approx. 35,000 m².
"Our pipeline of homes has developed very positively and now contains in the region of 2,000 potential residential building rights. At the same time, we have several sites at our disposal where we expect to be able to build homes, including in Egedal, Holbæk and Greve municipalities." says CEO Søren Stensdal.
Strong concept with focus on safety and neighborliness
The concept has been under development for a long time and builds on a solid foundation of experience-based development from Ammendrup Park, among others.
The family-owned Stensdal Group is based on strong values and a long-term approach, developing to own and operate in its own portfolio. This is reflected in Favn as a key element, where social responsibility and own operations are incorporated from the start in the development and management of the individual residential areas.
The focus is on creating long-lasting and affordable housing that not only provides quality in the built environment, but seeks to meet the well-being and needs of residents throughout their lives.
"At Favn, we focus on creating stability and security for our residents through our service concept, where we operate all homes with our own property hosts and administrators. By doing this, we can enhance the customer experience and create strong relationships with our residents. At the same time, our focus on flexibility allows people to stay in the area for as long as they want because we have housing types for all stages of life." says CEO Søren Stensdal
Safety and neighborliness are in focus and are supported by a range of attractive communal facilities that are adapted to the needs of the local area. An app will support the bond between residents and landlords, and a facilitated community effort will strengthen neighborliness and help residents become self-organized in their local environment and activities. As part of the work to develop this effort, Stensdal Group has partnered with Home.Earth, Neighborhood Lab and the Ramboll Foundation to develop and publish a guide to self-sustaining communities, using Ammendrup Park as a case study.
The app will also promote focus on responsible consumption by acting as a platform for resource sharing between neighbors. In this connection, Stensdal Group has received a grant from the Danish Road Directorate to roll out a car-sharing scheme for the residents of Ammendrup Park, which is expected to be implemented in the fall of 2025. Through this, Stensdal Group expects to gain valuable experience that can be spread to the rest of the portfolio.
In continuation of the launch, Søren Stensdal has participated in an interview with Estate Media. Read the full article by clicking the button below
