For us, respect and well-being are about more than just job satisfaction within our own organization. As a real estate player, we are part of a value chain and a society where our properties and decisions affect people – directly and indirectly.
Respect and well-being encompass our employees, working conditions in and around our projects, responsible partnerships, social sustainability in our properties, and engagement in the local communities we are part of.
The field is broad and constantly evolving. Our approach is strengthened as we gain insight, engage in dialogue, and accumulate experience.
Social responsibility begins with ourselves...

A strong organization is built on respect for people and a shared responsibility to create a safe and stimulating working environment. We believe that well-being and performance go hand in hand, and that a healthy culture is a prerequisite for delivering quality in everything we do.
Our values—care and consideration, respect, teamwork, quality, and honesty and openness—form the foundation for how we work together. They set the direction for our leadership, collaboration, and expectations of each other in our daily work.
We continuously monitor employee satisfaction and actively use the insights gained in our further development. For us, the Great Place to Work certification is a benchmark, not an end point. Culture and well-being are an iterative process that evolves in line with the growth of the organization and the expectations placed on a responsible workplace.
…and continues into collaborations and value chains
As a real estate player, we are part of an extensive value chain where our decisions affect people on construction sites, in operations, and among our partners. Our responsibility therefore extends beyond our own organization.
We are aware that the construction and real estate industry can be associated with risks such as social dumping, opaque subcontracting relationships, and varying labor standards. This is an area that requires systematic attention and ongoing development.
We are therefore working to further strengthen our supplier management, including through the development of ESG appendices and labor clauses that clarify expectations for proper wage and employment conditions on construction sites and in renovation projects. The ambition is to create greater transparency and uniform standards in our collaborations.
Our approach is rooted in our policies and guidelines for responsible conduct, which form the framework for dialogue and alignment of expectations with our partners. This area is continuously developed in line with industry standards, new knowledge, and increased demands for responsibility in construction.

Our proposal for a framework for well-being
Our properties form the backdrop to many people's everyday lives. That is why social sustainability is about more than just internal matters for us – it is about how our buildings and decisions affect people in practice.
In residential areas, this means creating safe and functional environments where communities can flourish. In commercial properties, it means providing stable and well-functioning environments for businesses and employees. And in the society around us, it means taking responsibility where we have the opportunity to contribute.
See a few specific examples of initiatives where we have worked with social responsibility in practice right here:

Where there is room in the heart, there is room in the house
We believe that responsibility towards people is closely linked to quality and long-term value creation.
Respect and well-being are about employees, partners, tenants, and the local communities we are part of. This requires structure, clear expectations, and a willingness to continuously develop in line with new requirements and experiences.
For us, social responsibility is not a single initiative, but an integral part of how we run and develop our real estate business.
